Fridge Games

A 6-game touch-friendly arcade built for our Samsung smart fridge. Family members pick an avatar, compete on daily challenges, and battle for Kitchen Champion.

The Games

Solo Games (compete on leaderboard):

• Fridge Magnets -- Swipe across adjacent letter tiles to spell words. 35K-word dictionary, 60-second timer.
• Kitchen Memory -- Flip cards to match food emoji pairs. Star rating based on move count.
• Snack Tap -- Food emojis pop up at random positions. Tap them as fast as you can in 30 seconds.
• Kitchen Simon -- Classic color pattern memory. Watch the sequence, repeat it. Speed increases each round.
• Math Chef -- Solve arithmetic problems against a 60-second clock. Difficulty ramps up as your streak builds.

Party Game (play together):

• Doodle Guess -- One person draws on the fridge screen, everyone else shouts guesses. Pictionary with 100+ words across 6 categories. Points for both drawer and guesser.

How It Works

• Daily Challenge -- every solo game uses date-seeded RNG so the whole family plays the exact same board each day
• Family Avatars -- one-tap profile selection (bear, fox, frog, owl, cat, dog, penguin, unicorn)
• Kitchen Champion -- highest daily scorer wears the crown on the home screen

Tech

Pure HTML/CSS/JavaScript. Each game is a single self-contained file. No frameworks, no build step, no server. Hosted on GitHub Pages.
